Blizzard Explains Why Some Portals are Removed in 8.1.5

Blizzard has explained why many portal locations are removed in 8.1.5, justifying the cuts seen last week on the PTR. They are viewing the changes as an opportunity to consolidate a lot of travel into a consistent venue with a consistent look and feel.
