How Much More Tank Threat Does Each Essence Slot Give?

Today's hotfix adjusted the amount of bonus threat that Tanks will get when they deal damage, but the hotfix notes weren't clear as to how much. We've investigated Tank Threat once again and tank threat has been increased, but probably not as much as you would have hoped.

For some reason, the addon Omen3 doesn't provide a 1 damage to 1 threat ratio.
