The Emerald Dream and Il'gynoth's Whispers in Rise of Azshara (Spoilers)

In the new Heart of Essence questline coming in Patch 8.2, we assist the Dragonflights across Azeroth. One of these places is the Emerald Dream, the location of Legion's first raid. In addition to revisiting the Emerald Dream in Patch 8.2, we also return to Il'gynoth's prophecies from the Emerald Nightmare raid.

In this article, we'll review the creation of the Emerald Nightmare, its role in Legion, and the Il'gynoth prophecies from the raid--and how they are all relevant to Patch 8.2.
