Azsharan Pearling Upgrade System in Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara - Items and Speculation

The PTR has revealed a new Azsharan Pearling gear upgrade system on the PTR for Patch 8.2: Rise of Azshara. With the armor tokens and upgrade materials added in this week's build, we can infer many details on how the system will work.
