The Removal of Corruption in Shadowlands Pre-Patch and Impact on Classes

The Shadowlands pre-patch coming on October 13th removes the entire Corruption system for classes. Here's exactly what this means:

MOTHER no longer sells Preserved Contaminants.

Existing Preserved Contaminants in your bags are destroyed, so you can't stockpile them.

Corruption benefits on your current gear no longer work.

The negative effects of Corruption are also disabled.

The Ny'alotha weapons have Corruption effects disabled.
