How to Obtain Catch-Up Gear Before the Scourge Invasion in the Shadowlands Pre-Patch

One of the most awaited features of the upcoming Scourge Invasion event are the return of several Northrend bosses as rare enemies in Icecrown. These bosses will drop item level 100 gear and will serve as a catch-up measure for alts looking to get some gear to prepare for their journey into the Shadowlands.

However, with the Shadowlands launch date delay, it is currently unknown when the Scourge Invasion will begin.
