Blizzard To Stop Major Development Updates for StarCraft II

Blizzard has announced they are halting major development updates for StarCraft II, such as additional for-purchase content. StarCraft II esports will continue through ESL Gaming and GSL.

The open letter to the community takes pains to state that this is not the end of the StarCraft franchise, just that StarCraft II is over 10 years old and Blizzard wants to instead focus on the future of the franchise. What do you think is next on the horizon for StarCraft?
