Patch 8.3 will contain a new raid, Ny’alotha, the Waking City, and with a new raid comes new raid balance. More often than not class vs class raid balance will impact very few people. Generally for DPS in raid it would be in your best interest to master one class / spec while learning the fundamentals of the game, and then once you have learned the game to a level that is appropriate for maintaining alts / class swapping then you should do it.
