Gift of N'Zoth Remains in Patch 8.3

The Gift of N'Zoth visual effect is not removed in Patch 8.3; Blizzard has confirmed the only way to remove it is through a quest.

Players have been reporting the eye visuals are removed upon logging into Patch 8.3, but this would appear to be a bug, not intentional. The only way to remove the Gift is through His Eye Upon You.

To be clear – it’s not gone. The only way to remove it is to complete the quest that cleanses you of its wicked curse.
