G2A is a digital goods marketplace (similar to eBay) based in Hong Kong. They facilitate the purchase and sale of digital games between third parties.

Like any third party site, there is risk and it is buyer beware. There have been issues in the past with sellers giving buyers stolen keys that were later revoked, invalid keys, etc. Many of the keys sold there are also keys from other regions where games are sold much cheaper due to economic conditions. As with eBay, if you are going to buy please look for sellers with high feedback, recent transactions, etc.
For most transactions G2A will not be of any assistance if you run into issues unless you purchase protection for the games you buy called G2A Shield, in which case they say they will "protect" your purchase in case of fraud, invalid keys, etc. Paypal also offers protection, but can be very limited in case of digital goods so buyer beware.
If you'd like to research known issues with the site further, the following links provide more information:

And here's a nice twitter exchange between Devolver Digital and g2a.
Many CAG users have reported no issues with the site, both buying and selling, and CheapyD has given the okay for the site to have it's own consolidated thread.
