I apologize if this was posted already.
Microsoft just announced that they're giving away an EXTRA free game with purchases of Xbox One's at participating retailers. It was mentioned in the Best Buy Ad but it looks like it's now confirmed for multiple retailers.
They ran this promotion last year. Buy an Xbox One Bundle, any Xbox One Bundle next week, and get a free game up to a $60 value. Does not work on pre-orders but will work with Batman when released on the 23rd.
This will work on the Assassins Creed Bundle, the Master Chief Bundle, and even the new 1 TB Xbox/Halo Bundle.
The web site does not list participating retailers but expect the usual suspect.
(Searching from the 2014 Promo, "Microsoft officials tell Polygon that participating retailers include Best Buy, GameStop, Target, Toys R Us, Amazon and Walmart." Do Walmart and Amazon have a kick ass promo to compete with Best Buy too? We'll see in two days.)
*** Possible Double Bundle Bonus ***
The Microsoft Store earlier in the week offered a $50 Gift Card with an Xbox One Bundle.
They just updated their bundle. Now they're offering a $50 Gift Card + Assassins Creed Unity with a Bundle.
It's possible they will run a bundle starting Sunday with the 1 TB Halo Bundle, with a $50 Gift Card, & a free $60 game. They ran that exact bundle last year. Will they also throw in Assassins Creed Unity? We'll have to wait for Sunday to see?
If you want to buy and Xbox One, wait until Sunday!
(Also you can trade in a 360 or PS3 at the MS Store and get $100.)
