One of the biggest complaints that players have had so far with Shadowlands is the rate at which Anima is acquired. Currently Anima is found in small amounts from boss kills, World Quests, rares and treasures, and similar content, and in slightly larger amounts from some quests, World Bosses, and some elite World Quests. Many have suggested that Callings should reward Anima, something that they don't currently do.
