Not even brand new characters are safe from the scourge infection, as redditor Superab has earned the dubious honor of dying during a new character introductory cutscene! While characters are not flagged for PvP while in Alliance or Horde territory, these traditionally safe starting areas don't grant the same protection against players who have been turned into zombies by the infection.
