While WoW going to console has been a popular rumor for years, that doesn't seem to be the case... at least not yet. Blizzard has since confirmed via the forums that they intend to make WoW more accessible through gamepad support.

One of the first things found when Shadowlands datamining began were strings relating to gamepad support, seemingly allowing players to assign keybinds to various console controllers.
