Redbox free video game rental for the week till Oct 4

I saw this under my messages section in my Redbox IOS app

Game all week, on us!  All 1 -day in -app game rentals are free through Sunday with code.

 

Valid in app only, one use, can't be shared, exp 10/4/15 at 11:59PM

 

 

Did everyone else get this or is this for my area only?

 

I do confirm the code worked when I took the code and used it on the website instead.
