A few minutes ago I purchased a New 3DS XL at Fry's in Burbank, CA. There is a today only emailed promo code that brings it down to $179.99. I had a bunch of rebate card to use up, so I finally gave in to temptation. After the sale was complete the cashier announced that I wasn't done yet because there was also a $35 gift card. I was baffled but I happily accepted it.
There is nothing in the ad to suggest that this offer exists but it happened. If you're near a Fry's, get the daily email codes, and have been thinking about getting a New 3DS XL, go over today and see what happens. At worst you'll just turn around and return it. But who knows, maybe you'll get lucky too.
