World of Warcraft Turns 15 Today

Today, November 23rd, is the 15th anniversary of the release of World of Warcraft! This also marks the 25th anniversary of the entire Warcraft franchise, as Warcraft: Orcs & Humans released on November 23rd, 1994.

On this date, WoW launched in North America, Australia and New Zealand, with Europe following on February 11, 2005. Since WoW's release, we've seen eight expansions announced, the launch of WoW Classic, the announcement of Warcraft III: Reforged, and even a movie.
