Vr apps deadline tonight! Help

I'm seeking a little help on gearVR game promotion. I know it ends tonight at midnight and I still haven't downloaded them. From what I've read you need to plug your S7 into your gearVR to accomplish this task. I haven't received a VR so I'm a little confused. If I'm reading everything wrong or not understanding coughed someone please explain to me what steps I need to take to take advantage of the promotion. Thanks to anyone who can help.
